At Character Building Camp, we understand the importance of nurturing creativity in young minds. Our After School Art Lessons are designed to spark imagination, cultivate artistic skills, and foster a love for creativity. Our dedicated instructors, Mrs. Alexandria and Mrs. Taryn, bring a wealth of teaching experience and creativity to our After School Art Lessons. They are committed to inspiring young artists to explore their potential. They are conservative mothers, and educators who believe in teaching children art in a pure form.

How to be Prepared for Class:
- Come to class wearing clothes that can get messy
- All supplies stay with the teachers, and will be set out for your child upon arrival
- Come to class on time, and ready to create!
Our Art Camp is held weekly from September 2024-April 2025. Children are immersed in their creative journeys under the expert guidance of experienced teachers to explore various artistic mediums. Each lesson in our curriculum is designed to explore "Art Throughout Time" and builds upon the previous one, enhancing the students' understanding and appreciation of art history, composition, and an array of techniques and styles.
Art is an incredible tool that encompasses and supports all areas of learning and development. It not only fosters creativity, but it can help build confidence, enhance communication skills, and nurture critical thinking. Through our themed lessons, children will become proficient in using different artistic tools and techniques, as well as develop the important life skills such as problem solving, persistence, and collaboration.
These skills translate beyond the art room, preparing your young artists to succeed in diverse environments. With each art project, students will weave together their learning experiences, building a rich tapestry of knowledge that will support their growth into well rounded individuals.

Our Art Lessons will highlight Art History and the wide range of techniques used to accomplish masterpieces over the course of the year inspired by artists that came before.
At the end of the year, we will hold an End of Year Showcase to walk through your child's progression and masterpieces.
